Day 24 – Horizontal Stabilizer – Meccano day!

It’s been a busy week and I have not gotten much time in the garage. Today, while chatting with my Dad in the evening, I was sticking clecos into holes, and kinda accidentally put all the pieces together without the skins. It was good to see how things line up. I can see how it will make life a bit easier to straiten some of the flanges on the nose ribs before putting it all back together with the skins. Either way, it was a fun and relaxing night and it kinda reminded me of playing with meccano when I was a kid. I still have a lot of deburring to do, but that’s another day!
